As a city fund, the project works with the Jerusalem Municipality to simplify processes for production work in Jerusalem for foreign and local producers

along the lines of the model used in many cities around the world. For the first time in Israel, a production coordination base was established in the Municipality that provides free services for all productions based in Jerusalem. Over the coming years, the project will work to develop a sustainable cinema and television industry in the city, and will continue to work to streamline coordination of productions and to bring together all the cinema and television bodies in the city in joint activities.

Bethlehem
The film won the Ofir Prize for best movie and five additional prizes.

Starring Ayelet Zorer and Yair Lotan.

Footnote

Asfour
Screenwriters: Gai Amir and Khanan Savyon; director: Rani Saar; producer: Udi Segal, Sumayoko Productions. Won the Israel Academy award for the best daily drama series. The series was broadcast on HOT, created strong interest on the national scene, and set a record for 18 million downloads through the VOD function.

The Human Resources Manager
Based on the book by A.B. Yehoshua. Screenwriter: Noah Stollman; director: Eran Riklis; producer: Haim and Esti Makelberg – Tutim Productions. Won 5 Ofir awards in 2010, including best film; won the Critics Award and Audience Favorite award at Lucerne 2010.

Intimate Grammar
Based on the novel by David Grossman. Screenwriter-director: Nir Bergmann; producer: Assaf Amir, Libretto Films – Norma Productions. Won the award for best film at the Jerusalem International Cinema Festival 2010 and the Tokyo Sakura award at the Japan Festival 2010.

Arab Labor
Second season. Screenwriter: Sayed Kashua, director: S. Kapon; producer: Yoni Paran, Drast. Won the Academy Award for best comedy series for 2011. Broadcast on Keshet.

Srugim
Third season. Creators: Laizy Shapiro; producers: Dikla Barkai and Yonatan Aroch. Broadcast on YES.

The Policeman
Screenwriter and director: Nadav Lapid; producer: Itai Tamir. Won the awards for best film, scenario, and photography at the Jerusalem International Film Festival 2011; Judges Award at the Lucerne Festival 2011; best film at Philadelphia 2011; audience favorite at Nantes, France 2011.

Temporary Guests
Director and screenwriter: Maya Kenig; producers: Orit Zamir and Yoav Roeh. Participated in the Berlin Festival in the generation+14 competition, 2012.

Prime Minister’s Children
