As part of this work, the JDA is promoting ways to enhance access to the park and connections to the nearby neighborhoods. In cooperation with KKL-JNF and the Nature and Parks Authority, the JDA is promoting a footpath that will connect the Gilo neighborhood to Refaim Park, thereby enhancing access.

The path will begin in Gilo Forest and end on the eastern entrance to Refaim Park.
