In accordance with the government decision to establish a new home for the Academy of the Hebrew Language, the JDA is promoting a plan to establish a new building for the Academy in the Museum Campus.
The new home will serve as the national museum for the Hebrew language, as well as a base for the Academy’s research activities. The museum will be situated on Rupin Street, adjacent to the Nature Museum. The Academy building is one of a series of large public buildings under construction, or planned for construction, in the National Campus, including the Israel National Library, the new building of the Antiquities Authority, and the Nature Museum. Naturally, these join the existing Bible Lands Museum, Science Museum, and Israel Museum as part of the plan to transform the entire area into a lively museum campus similar to those around the world.
