The JDA has partnered with the Israeli government, the Jerusalem Municipality, KKL-JNF, and the Gottesman Fund in order to establish an unbroken chain of bike paths within the city of Jerusalem, with a total length of approx. 20 km.

The Milton Ring, named after Milton Gottesman, begins at the Rail Track Park (close to the First Station compound) and winds west as far as Malha Sports Complex, before turning north to run alongside the Begin Freeway through the Deer Valley (Golomb intersection). From here the path winds northwest along the Deer Park and the neighborhoods of Givat Mordechai and Nayot as far as the Valley of the Cross. Here the path turns north, running through the Valley of the Cross and Sacker Park to the main entrance to the city (the intersection of Nordau, Shazar, and Jaffa Streets). The path then winds west along Jaffa Street to IDF Square and the Old City. From Jaffa Gate the path continues through the Yemin Moshe neighborhood and the Sultan’s Pool before returning to the First Station complex.

The construction of the Milton Ring has not yet been completed; some sections are still in the planning and paving stages.
